To really engage with your parents, the schools main stakeholders, research has shown that sending out a survey each term (3 per year) each on a different subject is the best way to gather feedback and insights into what your parents want from the school. It is also strongly recommended that you share the results of each survey with parents, as this shows openness to all, and reinforces the effectiveness of the surveys.

Below is listed the current library of surveys we have available. We recommend that the Annual Survey is completed once a year, and after the first year we can provide benchmarks against the previous years results to highlight any improvements or negative changes in parental views.

Survey 1 - Annual Survey
The Annual survey is an Ofsted style survey which encourages engagement and communications with parents on the key elements of the life of the school.
Survey 2 - Leavers Survey
The Leavers survey allows the school to canvas the opinions of those who have spent a large part of their lives at the school and will be major influencers in the local community.
Survey 3 - Wellbeing and Mental Health
The Wellbeing and Mental Health survey is designed to allow the school to gauge how effective its policy is being perceived by parents.
Survey 4 - Teaching and Learning survey
The Teaching and Learning survey measures to what extent parents believe the teaching and learning in the school is effective.
Survey 5 - External Provision survey
The External Provision survey gives parents an opportunity to provide feedback on this important area of school life.
Survey 6 - Wish List survey
The Wish List survey is a way of canvassing parent’s opinions on what they think is important for the future of the school
Survey 7 - September starters parents survey
The September starters parents survey allows parents to offer advice on helping their child settle into their new school.
Survey 8 - School and homelife survey
The School and homelife survey is a useful tool for the school to measure how it impacts on the students life at home.
Survey 9 - September starters info survey
The September starters survey is a crucial tool in allowing Year staff a better picture of the individual student and their needs. This will help their transition to the school to be smoother and easier. This survey is designed to be completed in the first week of the new term in September
Survey 10 - Year 6 > Year 7 transition for staff survey
The Year 6 to Year 7 survey is designed for parents to complete with their child in the summer holiday before joining the senior school. It will enable Year staff to ensure their transition is as smooth as possible.
Survey 11 - Year 7 Transition Survey
This survey is designed to be completed in the second half of the Autumn term as a check on the wellbeing and progress of Year 7 students.
Survey 12 - Nursery Annual Survey
The Annual survey is an Ofsted style survey which encourages engagement and communications with parents on the key elements of the life of the nursery.
Survey 13 – GCSE Exam Preparation Survey
A key feedback indicator for Year 11 before they take their public examinations. The results will gauge the effectiveness of the school’s programme of revision for students.
